Community Services

To be well-known as volunteers meeting a variety of community needs………..

The Georgia AT&T Pioneers will continue to serve our Community in a variety of ways.

This year the Georgia AT&T Pioneers Special Projects will be to help those who are blind or visually impaired and help Hospice Centers across the state.

We also will do Linus Blankets to support “Project Linus”.  These blankets will be given to children in hospitals, cancer treatment facilities, clinics and homeless shelters, hospice, and behavioral clinics who would appreciate the comfort and love a “made from the heart” blanket provides. Linus

 Education

... With special emphasis on education

The AT&T Pioneer Volunteers want to be known as “the education volunteers”. The focus on education was created in 1994 to channel the membership energies, talents and commitment to the community in support of our school systems. The Pioneers realize their potential, both individually and in partnership with other groups, to have a significant impact on the crisis in education our communities are experiencing today.

E-Learning

Georgia Pioneers are committed to assist with introducing technology-based learning to students and communities. We are working with local schools to provide computers and technology skills to lower income neighborhoods.
